We are in need of at least 30 volunteers to be a guest judge at our annual science fair and we really could use your help!

For the past 5 years, we have had all of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students create amazing presentations to show off their creative side to discover more about the world we live in and unique ways to improve it. We have approximately 15 spots reserved for our students to compete at the regional level hosted by the University of Notre Dame, and if they qualify, they could even advance on to the state level of competition.

Could you help us?

We have approximately 410 individual projects to evaluate within a short period of time.

You DO NOT need to be an expert in the field of science by any stretch. In the past, we have had college students, retired teachers, and community volunteers join us. There is a rubric to help judge each presentation to see if it meets the basic criteria of what we are looking for in a student’s project.

Below are the following dates and a timeline for each day:

                           Wednesday, November 20th      3rd & 4th grade

 Thursday, November 21st    5th grade

While it would be amazing to have the same judges for both days, we completely understand that whatever time you are able to give us would be very much appreciated. One day is perfectly fine. We would just need to know which day would be the best for you so that we can plan accordingly.
