Will there be a make-up day for missed time?
Under a 2-hour delay, the day is counted as a regular day. Those instructional hours missed due to the 2-hour delay will not be made up. In the event of a school closing, the State of Indiana does require the day to be made up. The missed day will be made

Athletics/Zero Hour/Afterschool and Extracurricular Activities:
Under a 2-hour delay, morning athletic practices will be adjusted for the 2-hour delay and coaches will communicate their adjusted schedules. After school programs and extracurricular activities will run as scheduled during a 2-hour delay day unless communicated otherwise by coaches or directors. In the event of a school closing, practices and events will be rescheduled. High School athletic competitions might not be canceled. The determination will come from the IHSAA and will be communicated as the information is known.
What happens if a 2-hour delay turns into an official closing of schools?
The decision and announcement to change a 2-hour delay to an official closing will be made by 7:00 a.m. The day will be considered a missed day. Students will not be required to report to school, practice, or after school programs during the day.
